Some Of The Stuff That We'll Look
At...
This email newsletter is aimed at electric guitar players who have played for at least six months. And we'll be
looking at cool stuff such as...
Phrasing:
Have you ever noticed how some guitarists make music when they solo, while others just sound like they are
running up-and-down scales? The difference between them all comes down to phrasing. Learning to phrase is kind
of like learning to speak a new language. There are many skills that must be mastered before you can "speak"
when you play a guitar solo. I'll break down these skills and help you learn them in an organized, structured
and fun way.
Technique:
This is one of my favorites! I'll give you lots of tips and advice on how to develop techniques such as
alternate picking, sweep picking, tapping, hybrid picking, string skipping, string-bending and much more! By
developing your technique you'll become a much more confident guitarist...and you'll kick some totally serious
ass when you solo!
Music Theory:
We'll cover lots of things including chord/scale relationships, intervals, scale degree visualization,
modes, arpeggios, chord construction, rhythm and much more. And unlike a lot of websites or books, I'll teach
you this stuff in a very practical and straight-forward way. You'll learn how to apply music theory so that it
makes you a much better guitarist. I mean...what's the point of learning music theory if you can't use it?
Ear Training:
Developing your sense of pitch is the most important skill for any musician. After all, music is a hearing
art. I'll show you how to develop your ears so that you can become a better musician.
Practice Strategies:
We'll look at how to practice. This is a vital skill for any guitarist! When you know how to practice
effectively, you'll approach each practice session with confidence. You'll feel like you can conquer,
obliterate and dominate any musical challenge!
Product Reviews:
I buy a lot of musical tuition books and products. Some are great, some are OK, and some are absolute junk!
By letting you know of the great ones, I'll be able to save you money. You'll no longer waste your hard-earned
dollars buying something you're not happy with!
